If you find yourself in Tasikmalaya, make sure to stop by and enjoy a bowl of this delicious chicken porridge.

One of Tasikmalaya Oldest Culinary signature hotspot. Been going here since I was a kid, and now became one of the regular many years later. The price is rather fair (leaning to SLIGHTLY expensive) for a rather large portion of porridge IF you compared to other places. Taste great though, worth every rupiah. The only problem is, the parking place/space (If you're using a car).. Sometimes it's hard to find a spot, sometimes you get one near the store.

It’s true—quality comes with a price. The portion is also very generous, larger than the usual size of porridge. They say this is a legendary porridge spot in Tasikmalaya. The place is tucked away in an alley, but it’s clean and spacious. As for parking, it’s along the roadside in front of the alley.

Delicious porridge, there's a lot of topping, taste good, portion is large, the price is 40k rupiah for 1 full portion, quite expensive for porridge but maybe you must try. No regret

Forget bland, forget boring! Bubur Ayam Mang Zenal, a Tasikmalaya legend since 1960, will redefine your perception of chicken porridge. Confession: I wasn't a porridge person. But this? This is a revelation. Finding it is half the fun. Tucked away in a hidden alley (less than 100 meters off the main road!), follow your nose – the delicious aroma will lead you there. Be prepared for a portion fit for a king (or queen!).  But the real star is the toppings – a symphony of textures and flavors from shredded chicken to crispy cakwe, all under a blanket of spring onions. Yes, it might be pricier than other porridge stalls. But trust me, it's worth every rupiah. The quality, the quantity, the taste – it's a porridge paradise! The friendly staff (mostly family members) and the clean, cozy space add to the experience. Just beware the breakfast queue – a testament to this Tasikmalaya gem's popularity!

Tasty chicken porridge. Suitable for people who exercise in the morning.

One of the culinary in Tasikmalaya, the portion is quite huge, so I'd rather order half portion. It's quite pricey though
